No, the books are developed as a printed reference to accompany anyone in apparel development throughout their career. However, the supplemental materials in the Style Portfolio are available electronically in a PDF format.

No, we are not a pattern company. How do I receive the digital drafts and patterns in the Style Portfolio?

Once you have purchased a style from the Style Portfolio you will be sent a link to download the PDF file to print from any home or office computer onto 8 ½" × 11" paper. The link will be available to you for one week and you will be provided one opportunity to download the file.

 

May I make up the styles in the Style Portfolio and sell them?

No, the drafts and patterns provided by A Notch Above Media & Publishing are for informational use only and protected by copyright law.

 

May I sell the drafts or patterns?

No, the drafts and patterns provided by A Notch Above Media & Publishing are for informational use only and protected by copyright law.  You are not permitted to resell or otherwise distribute our drafts and patterns.

What is the currency of the prices listed?

The currency is indicated next to the shopping bag in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

 

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept MasterCard, Visa and American express credit cards.  We also accept PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shopify Pay electronic payment options if you wish to place your order online. You are also welcome to send your order by mail along with a cheque or money order made payable to a "A Notch Above Media & Publishing". Please confirm the total when sending a cheque or money order via email to ensure the proper amount of shipping and/or taxes have been included in the order.

Do I need to pay sales tax?

We collect tax for Canadian purchases where applicable.

 

When can I expect to receive my purchase after I place my order?

Digital files are sent immediately after the order is placed. The link will be available to you for one week and you will be provided one opportunity to download the file.

Orders for printed materials are sent within one day of placing the order. The time of delivery is 12 to 14 working days. Please note that these delivery times are approximate values stated by our delivery partners and cannot be guaranteed. Back orders will be charged and dispatched as soon as they are available.

 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do ship internationally. Orders from outside of Canada may be subject to import duties and/or additional taxes or expenses. You are responsible for payment of any such duties and/or additional taxes.
